Overview
Virtually pain-free, long-lasting hair reduction for all skin types
At Maison Restorative we use the Soprano Titanium, one of the most advanced laser hair removal systems available. It combines three wavelengths of laser light in a single applicator to target three different structures of the hair follicle simultaneously, delivering effective results across all skin types including darker skin tones.
Unlike older systems, the Soprano Titanium builds heat gradually and continuously, making the treatment virtually pain-free while still achieving a thorough reduction. Hair falls out two to three weeks after each session as the treated follicles shed, and over a course of treatments regrowth is significantly reduced.
Every patient receives a full consultation and patch test before starting, and we treat all areas of the face and body. A course of sessions is needed because laser energy can only affect follicles in their active growth phase, and hair cycles through phases at different times.

What to expect
Your treatment journey
- 1
Consultation and patch test
Your suitability is assessed and a patch test is carried out at least 24 hours before your first session to ensure your skin responds safely to the device and settings.
- 2
Treatment
The Soprano Titanium handpiece is passed smoothly over the treatment area, gradually building heat in the follicles. Treatment time depends on the area being treated.
- 3
Aftercare and ongoing sessions
Treated hair sheds over two to three weeks. Multiple sessions are needed to catch all follicles in their active phase; your practitioner will advise the recommended interval between appointments.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Does laser hair removal hurt?
The Soprano Titanium is designed to be virtually pain-free. Most patients describe a gentle warming sensation rather than the sharp snapping associated with older laser systems.
How many sessions will I need?
The number varies depending on the area, your hair type and your skin tone. This is discussed at consultation, but most patients require a course of several sessions to achieve a thorough reduction.
Is laser hair removal suitable for my skin tone?
The Soprano Titanium is effective across all skin types, including darker skin tones that were poorly suited to older laser systems. Your practitioner will assess your skin at consultation.
Can I have a patch test first?
Yes, a patch test is required before your first treatment session and is carried out at least 24 hours in advance. This confirms the right settings for your skin and ensures there is no adverse reaction.
What areas can be treated?
All areas of the face and body can be treated, including the upper lip, chin, underarms, arms, legs, bikini area and back. Pricing and the recommended number of sessions are confirmed at consultation.
How much does laser hair removal cost?
Pricing depends on the areas being treated and what is agreed for you and is confirmed in writing at your consultation, with no obligation to proceed.
