What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are long-chain molecules derived from highly purified natural sources that act as powerful biostimulators in the skin. When injected, they work at a cellular level, stimulating fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin, improving hydration and antioxidant defence, and restoring the skin's structural integrity from within.

Treatment
Topical numbing cream is applied for comfort, then PhilArt is injected at carefully selected points. The session typically takes thirty to forty-five minutes.

Aftercare and follow-up
Some mild redness or swelling is normal and settles within a day or two. Results develop over several weeks as collagen production increases; a follow-up session is usually recommended four to six weeks later.
Small raised bumps at each injection point are expected and usually settle within a few hours to a day, and mild redness, swelling or bruising is common. Apply a cold compress gently if the area feels swollen, and leave the treated skin alone rather than massaging it. Keep make-up off for around 12 hours, and use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser for the first day or two. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and alcohol for 24 hours, and use a daily broad-spectrum SPF while the skin settles. Because this is a regenerative treatment rather than a filler, nothing dramatic happens immediately: the improvement in hydration, firmness and skin quality builds over the weeks following each session and across the course, so it is best judged once the full course is complete. Contact the clinic if swelling worsens after the first day or two, or if a lump persists beyond a couple of weeks.
