Overview

What is an 8 point facelift?

The 8 Point Facelift is an advanced non-surgical procedure that uses precisely placed dermal fillers to restore lost volume, lift sagging tissue and refresh the overall architecture of the face. Eight strategic injection points are targeted along the cheekbones, tear trough, nasolabial folds, jawline and corners of the mouth, addressing the key areas where ageing is most visible.

The result is a natural lifting effect comparable to surgery but without incisions, general anaesthetic or significant downtime. Cheekbones appear more defined, hollows under the eyes soften, lines from nose to mouth reduce, and the corners of the mouth lift slightly, restoring a more youthful facial balance.

All treatments at Maison Restorative are carried out by highly trained medical professionals using premium hyaluronic acid fillers. Because the treatment works holistically across the face rather than spot-treating individual lines, the effect looks natural and proportionate.

What to expect

What to expect from 8 Point Facelift

  1. Step 1

    Consultation

Your practitioner assesses your facial structure, discusses your goals and plans a bespoke treatment across the eight key anatomical points.

  2. Step 2

    Treatment

Numbing cream is applied for comfort, then the filler is placed with precision at each point. Most treatments take between sixty and ninety minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Aftercare

Results are visible immediately and continue to settle over the following days. Simple aftercare advice is provided and a review appointment arranged.

Aftercare

Swelling, tenderness, small lumps and bruising at the injection points are all normal in the first 24 to 72 hours, and the face often looks slightly uneven before it settles. Apply a cold compress gently for the first evening and sleep with your head raised on an extra pillow for the first night or two. Do not massage, press or rub the treated areas unless your practitioner has specifically asked you to, and avoid facials, other facial treatments and dental work for around two weeks. Keep make-up off for at least 12 hours, and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, sunbeds and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours. The result settles over roughly two weeks as swelling resolves, so judge it then rather than the following morning, and attend any review appointment offered. Contact the clinic immediately, and out of hours if necessary, if you develop severe or increasing pain, blanching or a white or dusky discolouration of the skin, or any change in your vision, as these need urgent assessment.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about 8 Point Facelift

What makes the 8 Point Facelift different from regular dermal fillers?

Rather than treating one area in isolation, the 8 Point Facelift works across eight strategic points to restore the natural scaffolding of the face. The holistic approach produces a lifting effect that individual spot treatments cannot achieve on their own.

Is it painful?

Numbing cream is applied before treatment, making the procedure very well tolerated. Some patients feel mild pressure at the injection sites, but significant discomfort is uncommon.

How long will the results last?

Results typically last between twelve and eighteen months, depending on the products used, the areas treated and how your body metabolises hyaluronic acid. A maintenance appointment keeps the effect looking fresh.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. Some patients have mild swelling or bruising for a few days, but most people return to their usual routine the same day or the day after.

Could I have this alongside other treatments?

Yes. The 8 Point Facelift is often combined with anti-wrinkle injections for lines in the upper face, or with skin-quality treatments such as Profhilo. Your practitioner will advise on the best combination for your goals.

How much does the 8 Point Facelift cost?

Pricing depends on the treatment plan agreed for you and is confirmed in writing at your consultation, with no obligation to proceed.
