Overview

Non-surgical skin tightening and lifting using focused ultrasound energy

Ultracel combines High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) with fractional radiofrequency to deliver a genuinely non-surgical lifting effect. The ultrasound energy targets the deep structural layers of the skin, including the SMAS muscle layer that a traditional facelift addresses surgically, prompting the body to build fresh, tighter collagen over the weeks following treatment.

Because the energy is focused precisely beneath the surface, the skin itself is left completely undisturbed. There is no incision, no anaesthetic and no recovery period. Most patients return to their day immediately after a session.

Results build gradually as new collagen is laid down, with the full effect typically visible over three to six months. The treatment is well suited to the face, neck, jawline, brow area, décolletage and body, and can be tailored to concentrate on the areas of most concern.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How does HIFU differ from a surgical facelift?

A surgical facelift physically repositions tissue and skin; HIFU stimulates the body to rebuild its own collagen and tighten the deep structural layers from within. Results are naturally progressive rather than immediate, and there is no surgery, anaesthetic or recovery involved.

Is the treatment painful?

Most patients describe a warm or tingling sensation as the energy is delivered. Any discomfort is brief and well tolerated. No anaesthetic is needed.

When will I see results?

You may notice a short-term tightening effect straight after treatment. The main result develops over three to six months as the new collagen matures.

How many sessions are needed?

Many patients achieve a satisfying result from a single session. Your practitioner will discuss whether a follow-up treatment would be beneficial at your consultation.

Which areas can be treated?

Ultracel is effective on the face, neck, under the chin, jawline, brow, around the eyes, and on the décolletage and body where skin laxity is a concern.

How much does HIFU skin tightening cost?

Pricing depends on the areas treated and what is agreed for you and is confirmed in writing at your consultation, with no obligation to proceed.
